Chapter 1 — Introduction
The Royal Australian Armoured Corps (RAAC) is a Roblox Multicrew Tank Combat (MTC) group modelled on real Australian Army armoured doctrine. Membership is a privilege, not a right. Every member — regardless of rank — is expected to uphold the values, standards, and conduct outlined in this document at all times.
This Code of Conduct forms the ethical foundation of the RAAC. It does not exhaustively list every prohibited behaviour. Instead, it provides the principles members must use to guide their own decisions. Where the Code does not explicitly address a situation, members are expected to act in the spirit of these principles.
This document applies to all RAAC members, including officers, NCOs, and enlisted personnel. It applies on Discord, in Roblox, and in any space where members are identifiable as part of the RAAC.
Chapter 2 — Core Principles
The RAAC is built on six core principles. These are not rules — they are the values that every member is expected to internalise and demonstrate through their conduct.
2.1 Respect
All members are to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of rank, age, nationality, or experience level. Harassment, targeted abuse, discriminatory language, or deliberate humiliation of any member will result in immediate disciplinary action. The RAAC is an age 16+ organisation — immaturity directed at any member is unacceptable.
2.2 Discipline
Military discipline is the foundation of effective combined arms operations. Members are expected to follow lawful orders from their chain of command without debate in the field. Questions and disagreements are raised through proper channels after the engagement, not during one.
2.3 Integrity
Members represent the RAAC at all times. Do not cheat, exploit game mechanics, misrepresent your service record, or falsify information on any RAAC form or document. A single act of dishonesty will result in immediate review and potential discharge.
2.4 Loyalty
Loyalty to the RAAC means supporting your crew, your chain of command, and the group's mission. Do not undermine leadership publicly, disparage the group in external communities, or recruit RAAC members for competing groups while still serving.
2.5 Commitment
Active membership requires consistent participation. Members who are unable to meet minimum activity standards must submit a Leave of Absence (LOA) or Extended Leave of Absence (ELOA) through proper channels. See RAAC-R-003 for requirements.
2.6 Professionalism
The RAAC operates in a semi-realistic military manner. Communications during operations are kept concise and professional. Outside operations, members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects well on the Corps in all shared spaces.
Chapter 3 — General Orders
The following General Orders are standing directives applicable to all RAAC members at all times. They are non-negotiable and non-exhaustive. Violations are subject to disciplinary action under RAAC-R-005.
- Order 1 — Chain of Command. All RAAC members will conduct themselves in accordance with the established chain of command. Requests, grievances, and enquiries are directed to your immediate superior, then upward if unresolved.
- Order 2 — No Cheating or Exploitation. No RAAC member will use exploits, hacks, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage in Multicrew Tank Combat or any other game. Violations result in immediate discharge.
- Order 3 — Clan Tags. All RAAC members are to display the [RAAC] tag in Roblox when participating in authorised RAAC operations. Tags may be removed during personal play.
- Order 4 — Friendly Fire. Deliberate friendly fire is prohibited. Accidental friendly fire must be reported to the TC immediately. Repeated incidents will be investigated.
- Order 5 — Conduct Toward Enemies. Members will not harass, threaten, or abuse enemy players. Competitive aggression within the game is normal; personal abuse directed at real people is not.
- Order 6 — Server Authority. No RAAC member will impersonate a server administrator or claim authority they do not hold. Do not attempt to kick, ban, or remove other players from servers without proper authority.
- Order 7 — Rank Honesty. Members will not claim, display, or misrepresent a rank they have not been officially promoted to. Rank is recorded in MILPAC and is the definitive record.
- Order 8 — Simultaneous Membership. Members may not hold a leadership position (NCO or above) in a directly competing MTC group while serving as an RAAC officer or NCO. Enlisted members may participate in other groups but must disclose this to their TC.
- Order 9 — Age Compliance. All RAAC members must be at least 16 years of age. Members who are found to be under 16 will be immediately discharged. See Chapter 6.
- Order 10 — Reporting. Members who witness a serious breach of these orders are encouraged to report it to the CO or 2IC via Discord DM or the PAF system with supporting evidence.
- Order 11 — MILPAC Accuracy. Members are responsible for ensuring their Personnel File information is accurate. Incorrect information must be reported via PAF. Falsified entries are treated as a breach of Order 3.
Chapter 4 — Discord Code of Conduct
The RAAC Discord server is the primary communications platform of the Corps. All members are expected to uphold the following standards at all times.
4.1 Channel Use
- Use channels for their intended purpose. Off-topic discussion belongs in the general channel.
- Operations and briefings channels are for operational use only — no idle chat during or immediately before an operation.
- Announcements channels are CO/2IC only. Do not post in them unless explicitly authorised.
4.2 Prohibited Content
- No explicit, graphic, or adult content of any kind. The RAAC is age 16+ and Discord community standards apply.
- No content that could be construed as targeting a member for their real-world identity, background, or beliefs.
- No unsolicited recruitment for other groups.
- No doxxing, sharing of personal identifying information, or screenshotting private channels without consent.
4.3 Voice Channels
- Maintain radio discipline in operational voice channels. Avoid talking over TCs or FCs during engagements.
- Do not join voice channels occupied by members for the purpose of disruption.
- Music bots and other non-operational bots are restricted to designated channels.
Members found to be under the age of 16 in RAAC voice channels will be reported to Discord and discharged from the RAAC immediately.
Chapter 5 — In-Game Conduct (Multicrew Tank Combat)
MTC-specific conduct standards reflect both the game environment and the RAAC's commitment to realistic, disciplined armoured operations.
5.1 Crew Discipline
- Crew members will follow the Tank Commander's orders within the engagement without debate.
- Disagreements with TC decisions are raised after the engagement, not during one.
- Unauthorised fire — shooting without a command when in a coordinated operation — is a breach of fire discipline and will be logged.
5.2 Inter-Crew Communication
- Net discipline applies. Keep transmissions short and relevant.
- Standard calls: CONTACT (direction), ON THE WAY, LOADED, DRIVER MOVE, DRIVER STOP, CEASE FIRE.
- Crosstalk during active engagements clutters the net and costs lives. Hold non-essential communication.
5.3 After-Action Conduct
- Post-engagement, crews will conduct a brief AAR (After-Action Review) to identify lessons.
- Operations are logged in MILPAC by CO or 2IC. Members who believe an op was not logged should submit a PAF.
- BDA (Battle Damage Assessment) is the TC's responsibility to report to the FC or CO.
Chapter 6 — Age Policy
The RAAC is an age 16+ organisation. This policy exists to ensure a mature, respectful environment for all members and to comply with platform terms of service.
- All applicants must confirm they are aged 16 or older on the Personnel Enlistment Form (PEF).
- Misrepresentation of age on the PEF constitutes a breach of Order 3 (Integrity) and will result in immediate discharge upon discovery.
- Any member found or suspected to be under 16 will be immediately placed on administrative hold pending verification. If confirmed, they will be discharged.
- This age requirement applies to all participants in RAAC operations, events, and voice channels — including guests and prospective members.
The age policy is non-negotiable and not subject to exceptions, regardless of maturity or behaviour.
Chapter 7 — Enforcement
Breaches of the Code of Conduct are addressed through the RAAC disciplinary system as defined in RAAC-R-005. The following is a general summary of enforcement tiers.
Members subject to disciplinary proceedings retain the right to present their account to the CO prior to any formal action at Tier 3 or above. Appeals are directed to the CO in writing via the PAF system.
Zero-tolerance actions — cheating, exploitation, underage membership, doxxing, or serious threats — bypass all tiers and result in immediate discharge without appeal.
